Ott would likely be a step up on returns, but if he's going to carry the rock 30-35 times a game, it's probably best not to give opposing special teams several more chances a game to blast him while at a full sprint.oskidunker said:

If he took at knee there we would get the ball at the 7 yard line. You have to fair catch it to get it to the 25.

He may be MORE valuable on special teams because there isn't a big DL stuffing his every attempt.
