Wow that was not a TD. That Oregon guy dropped it before the goal line! Bad call.

Cannot believe that was 'confirmed' by the replay official. His front foot was not across the goal line when the ball was released and his arm is shorter than his leg, and also was not even extended.

Ah, replay conformed that his teammate immediately picked it up.

Ohhhhh, I seem to remember this issue in one of our games. Was that the Texas game at Memorial? If no one immediately goes for the ball like it's live, then it's a dead ball. The other team did touch the ball first, but they acted like it was a dead ball, not a live ball. Remember that?

Coach Prime is All Hat, No Cattle

I've never seen a coach get his level of attention without ever winning anything of substance

Do not get me started on him.

Vols didn't even play their best game tonight and still beat No. 24 NC State.

Not trying to brag; all I'm saying is that Tennessee could have played a whole lot better than they played.

That was a pretty amazing ruling - I thought it would have been a touchback since he ball rolled into endzone, ut I guess it reverts back to the last point of possession.

The thing I hate about the immediate possession rule is that now you have players diving at the ball and around players knees and ankles after the whistle blows for ball that are clearly not fumbles.

FSU, SMU and NC state look much more winnable than originally expected.

A lot of the "bottom dwellers" in the ACC we assumed would be very winnable games, kinda look fairly tough

But still very early. Just keep taking one game at a time

The SEC earned another black eye with Pac-2 After Dark by losing (badly) at the Palouse tonight.

Wait, what?

The Cougs beat TT, a Big-12 team.

ASU beat MSU.

Notre Dame loses to Northern Illinois at home. Coach should have been fired at midfield after the game

Overall the SEC went 3-3 this week against other power conferences:

Cal beating Auburn
Arizona State beating Mississippi State
Oklahoma State beating Arkansas

Texas beating Michigan
Tennessee beating NC State
Oklahoma squeaking by Houston

Of course, the Tennessee and Texas games will get all the press.

My mistake! You're right Tech's a Big 12 team.

College football is fundamentally corrupt, and the media is a full participant in that corruption.
