Cj was hurt most of the time he was at Cal, and Isi was a good back.

Yeah, though these games on ESPN (not ESPN2) tend toy get okay ratings anyway. I think a lot of bars or restaurants just leave ESPN on a TV no matter what.

Cj was hurt most of the time he was at Cal, and Isi was a good back.


CJ played in nearly every game the two years we had him. He was just Sofele's back up. Tedford/Gould had a bit of a seniority system.

Maybe, but CJ admitted that he was unprepared and out-of-shape when he arrived at Cal. Isi then had a 1,000 yard season and earned the starting spot for his senior year. He was less effective his senior year. Should they have given CJ more touches than he got? Maybe.

To me Cal can always have an opportunity to make that point with another two point conversation, I don't think it's unrealistic that your punter can make a 4 yard pass and he had to do in practice a bunch

I like that Cal is showing pressure and dropping back - make the qb and OL adjust.

Uluave has no hope of covering that RB. You need a db.

DB tackling needs to improve. Already a few missed tackles leading to YAC.
