I just have huge issues with the technical blocking ability of this team. Guys don't stay behind their own pads and within the shoulders of their opponent's. That's day 1 stuff, idk if Bloesch is spread too thin being the OC as well but that's unacceptable for a team that prioritizes OL play to run and has an OL coach running the show on offense

Amazing play by Teddye. He defended the pass to the flats, then the run by the QB, and still knocked down the pass in the lane. He did yeoman's work on that, like 3 defenders in one. It might seem nondescript but that was absolutely elite LB play right there

We have speed on the edge vs this team so of course we run up the middle or cut back up the middle. This d line is one you can run pitch outs on.

They turned him loose during 1H vs. Miami and he was fantastic throwing downfield. And then our nuts shriveled up and we went back to dink passes and stuffed running plays.
This team is really limited by Wilcox and the coaching staff. We could be so much more than we are.

Fernando doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves for carrying this team and shouldering the load. The numbers won't blow you out of the water but the minutiae of what he actually does to drive this offense is amazing. If you box score watch you might think he's just a pretty good college QB but what he's doing is Herculean most games

Justin Wilcox, I'll give you 100 bucks if you quit right now.
Bhaghani was 8 of 9 for us last year and is 9 of 10 so far for Ucla. We had the kicking problem solved but Wilcox just couldn't tolerate it. Some people around here will try to tell you Bhaghani has a terrible leg and can't even attempt long FGs but he hit from 54 against Oregon this season.JollyBear said:

Run up the middle for 1 yd. Throw screen and get blown up. How about continue to throw down field where they were being successful?
