I've lowered my 2025 season expectations to just getting JW fired. For squandering a gift of a schedule and qb and defensive talent, again.
The season is a success if it ends with Wilcox and the Harsin/Rolo losers out on their ass.

I also want to say, I still believe San Diego State is a BAD football team.
Apparently, so is Cal, in spite of all the hype.
Hype =/= reality. See last year's hot start and related hype as an example.
And the reality is, the talent on this roster (or lack of it) doesn't really match the hype. Having a good QB really can hide a lot of problems but this really isn't a special roster in any way.
It is a lot better than SDSU though, and a lot of the crappy teams we play this year if the team was prepared and coached well.

okaydo said:Cal is Cal-ing to one of the Cal-iest losses in a long time. And that's saying something, because there have been some very Cal-ish ones under Justin Wilcox

Was there hype, or just typical Cal fan delusion?

The "worst" thing that could happen to CAL football is that Wilcox wins a couple more games than expected because JKS, and gets another extension.

Were Cal players reading they hype?

Like to see a bit of creativity on offense that isn't JKS running an option.

Not going to panic, this is basically what we looked like vs Texas Southern 2 weeks ago. Only difference is now our defense wanted to join in the sleep walking. I hope some butts get chewed out at halftime. The corners have been shocking and the defensive line is basically what we use to refer as titty fighting between the offensive and defensive lines. Linebackers are invisible.

What the he'll did the coaches tell the team at halftime????

Wilcox has 30 minutes to save his job but who am I kidding here

Commenting on the announcers here, but the problem has never been Cal fans. It has always been the team, and the consistent and constant heartbreak associated with them.
