And the reality is, the talent on this roster (or lack of it) doesn't really match the hype. Having a good QB really can hide a lot of problems but this really isn't a special roster in any way.
It is a lot better than SDSU though, and a lot of the crappy teams we play this year if the team was prepared and coached well.
Having an accurate and big armed QB phenom doesn't mean much if his receivers keep dropping his passes.

Not going to panic, this is basically what we looked like vs Texas Southern 2 weeks ago. Only difference is now our defense wanted to join in the sleep walking. I hope some butts get chewed out at halftime. The corners have been shocking and the defensive line is basically what we use to refer as titty fighting between the offensive and defensive lines. Linebackers are invisible.

agreed, i dont like JKS as a running QB. Its not his strength.
I, obviously, want to see Cal win this game. But, if we're going to lose, I want us to lose by a lot. Cal being Cal, only a really embarrassing face plant might motivate Lyons and Rivera to fire Wilcox. And fire him they MUST.

Commenting on the announcers here, but the problem has never been Cal fans. It has always been the team, and the consistent and constant heartbreak associated with them.

Someone I work with a did a interview with a vendor for the vendors PR, and lit up internal teams as being incompetent.
He still works here. No one will work with him though.
I feel like Wilcox is in the same position. Still here. No one wants to be around him.
