And playing like there was no urgency whatsoever. Both OL & DL got pushed around all evening. Besides the horrific loss at SDSU, this was the worst. IMHO, there is no excuse.

Below Cal is Auburn and Texas.
Miami is last at 8.2


Cal is #100 at 60.2 yards per game
At 25 ypg: Army is #1, Air Force #7 (mental discipline?)
Indiana #2
Last is 75 ypg


To be fair, Cal opponents are penalized nearly as much in yards and 1 flag less per game.

Cal rushing: 12 yards on 26 attempts 0.5 yards per carry. We are now last in the country behind Stanford in yards per carry (2.5).

Yes, but aren't we also taking in a much smaller media payout with the ACC media deal? I believe BarelyCareAnymore had some information on the current athletic finances and they were not good.

And the DL was shoved all over the place as well. furd had 159 yards rushing, most of it by Ford.

I just assumed that the Rivera-Wilcox thing would be awkward. Suddenly, this guy is brought in as your boss who isn't really experienced as a college football administrator?

I really didn't think about it until I saw the picture below from last night of Rivera and Wilcox standing next to each other during the game. It just seemed that there would be some kind of boundaries during game play.

But I really didn't think about it this season because....a typical Wilcox season is him having a winning record in the OOC and struggling to get to bowl eligibility in conference play before the inevitable conference losing record and *** loss(es).

This season was typical Wilcox.

I think he might be referring to all the WRs and RBs we lost in the offseason, whom we also badly needed this season.
