It's entirely possible that Tosh volunteered to do this after seeing the stupid Oregon fan produced youtube video go viral, as well as Larry Scott getting his shorts in a bunch over this with the Cal athletics dept.

If Tosh is in fact "taking one for the team" in lieu of the other guy in charge, hopefully it provides fuel for his future Head Coaching candidacy @ Cal and he sticks around (or comes back) to see it happen.
I thought that faking injuries was what they call "gamesmanship" because they do it in the NFL and it's one of those things everybody knows about and accepts as "part of the game". Heck, I heard this was stuff they did to stop Jim Kelly and Buffalo Bill's no-huddle K-Gun offense in the 1990s. Yeah, it's been part of the game that long.
I saw what Cal was doing on the field and just smiled, especially at Aaron Tipoti's Oscar-winning performance. LOL! No biggie, signals or not.
If it's not against the rules, it's gonna keep happening and has happened before at the highest levels of football and with better actors. If the NCAA doesn't like it, add a new Bylaw against it. Until then, let it go.
