You're missing an option. Namely, that one of these teams blows off their scheduled FCS opponent to play us. This happens all the time. The smaller schools do it for the payday. I'm guessing this is what will happen.

To hell with playing FCS schools. Nothing to gain and everything to lose.

Wow...big time game for Minot State huh? OH gawd we're gonna get smoked. Actually when I was there...we use to scrimmage Univ. of North Dakota and we held our own. We lost 21-7 when I was there. Might be the first time MSU has played an FCS opponent though in their history in a real game. Just like the Jeffersons...Movin on UP! to D2!

Trust me...I don't think anyone will be too happy, or impressed.
It will be a win though....

It's ridiculous that it's mid-February and we still haven't finalized our schedule.

That's a conference game, so they would have to move it, not buy it out. But it is possible.
