I will be flying out of Oakland Thursday night and staying at the Renaissance Boulder FlatIron Hotel through Monday. I will be doing the alumni activities Friday and Saturday before the game. Does anyone have any suggestions for after the game and Sunday?

Just arrived at the hotel in Colorado. Headed out in an hour for dinner. Most of crew arrives on Friday.

Brings back unpleasant memories of my first year of grad school at Michigan. As first-year students, we were seated with the Freshmen. I was looking forward to the intensity of B10 football at the Big House, but was very disappointed to learn that it was a "tradition" for the freshmen to throw marshmallows at each other...but not at halftime...during the entire game. Man, that was annoying.

Since the Lazy Dog and Millennium Hotel are both hosting Cal events, I'd say head back to one of them immediately afterwards... lazy dog does have a nice upstairs patio..... get a few pops, then grab dinner on pearl st. If you want a nice dinner, there are lots of nice restaurants so I'd just read some reviews and maybe make reservations? If you want something casual and not super crowded, I'd suggest the Walnut, Old Chicago, maybe even Tahona. More recommendations in that other link.

Then go to a more upscale bar like the Rio Grande or West End, or even the Attic or St Julien Hotel Lobby, then hit up the later night ones (after 9) made for serious drinking... the pearl st pub, conors, catacombs, or sundowner. Conors is actually OK at all times of the eve, though it may be empty.

If we lose, go straight to a real bar and let the the jamo flow.

Had to leave at 7 to meet my friend at DEN coming in from Boston.

What a great group. The Colorado alums worked so hard to set things up tonight, and it was a blast. Beautiful setting above Pearl Street and the CU band was arriving for their rally just below us.

Wish I could have stayed and am sure there will be more reviews later.

Looking forward to the party at 11 and big victory tomorrow!
