After giving him the 101 crash course on recruiting, I"d let'm loose on the recruits we've lost, or are about to loose. The more restrictions and thinking you give this guy to do will work against him. Just let that passion, charisma, and energy shine!

And give him an unlimited data plan and the Twitter usernames of all the recruits.

It took a little bit of brain archive search but I got the absolute best Zack Follet video.

<a href="<a href="<a href="<a href="<a href="http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I"""""" class="postlink " target="_blank">http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I""""" class="postlink " target="_blank"><a href="http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I""""" class="postlink " target="_blank">http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I"""" class="postlink " target="_blank"><a href="<a href="http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I""""" class="postlink " target="_blank">http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I"""" class="postlink " target="_blank"><a href="http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I"""" class="postlink " target="_blank">http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I""" class="postlink " target="_blank"><a href="<a href="<a href="http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I""""" class="postlink " target="_blank">http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I"""" class="postlink " target="_blank"><a href="http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I"""" class="postlink " target="_blank">http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I""" class="postlink " target="_blank"><a href="<a href="http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I"""" class="postlink " target="_blank">http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I""" class="postlink " target="_blank"><a href="http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I""" class="postlink " target="_blank">http://"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJCbZAFgn7I"" class="postlink " target="_blank">Zack Follet 2007 Highlights by Danzig set to the tune of Drowning Pools "Bodies."

Let the bodies hit the floor.

I believe the video speaks for itself. Zack can coach linebackers.

No defensive player in recent memory, not Mohammad, nor Kendricks, was as big of a play-maker and a difference maker on the field, at least I feel, as Zack was. Better prospects in their positions? Sure, Cameron Jordan and Alualu were first round picks. But defensive playmaker and general on the field? I don't think anyone can compete with Zack.

So I don't feel that his lack of a traditional Defensive Line experience is a factor.

My biggest concerns would be
1. Work ethic. How committed are you to game prep? You're not getting yourself prepared now. You're getting the defensive line as a whole prepared as well as the mentality of the individuals on the line prepared.
2. Knowledge of defense schematics. It's not all about just techniques, it's also about defensive strategy.
3. Ability to impart knowledge effectively. Are you just a playmaker, or can you make others playmakers, too?
4. Recruiting. Great person, sure, but can he recruit? I'd like to think so, but there's no proof.

I think that's about it. But lastly I should mention that although these are immediate visible concerns, they are not at all an ultimate indictment of his ability.

Most importantly right now, Ziger brings a positive, eager attitude. And passion. He's gotta get an interview, at the very least. He may not be perfect for the job right now, but why wouldn't he be able to grow into it? I say give him a chance.

:gobears:

Bring the Pain Train. Love the positive vibe he brings and think he would be a great counter to Tosh, who we will have to recruit against for years to come. His NFL experience can't be discounted.
