I noticed that, too. For somebody who has been around for hundreds of years, he should know better.

Given Vin is 85 and has been broadcasting Dodger games since 1950, 63 years, I'm giving him a break. I hope he continues broadcasting as long as he possibly can. Few people or fan bases get to hear the same guy doing games since childhood.

That's weird. I actually saw Vinny at a Rhetoric graduation at Zellerbach in 1987. I think his niece or something was graduating. He knows better. Whatever Vinny does now is gravy, as far as I'm concerned.

Hell, he called Derek Jeter "Gary" Jeter for like 3 games. He's still the best though.

This 46-game run as of August 13 is the best run in Dodger history since 1899, and the best since the Oakland A's run in 2001.

The moron who threw the banana, even if he had no racially motivated intent as he claims, should be flogged, ridiculed, and banned from AT&T Park indefinitely for his stupidity. That action was indefensible.

Namaste. I say this sincerely. Enjoy and relish the ride. You'll remember it forever regardless of the outcome. The Dodgers are on an epic run. It's a great story. Congrats. I have been fortunate after many years of being heartbroken and disappointed as a Giants fan to have experienced two magical seasons in the last three years that were improbable and awe inspiring. I hate the Dodgers but love and respect many of their fans. Enjoy.
