I am reading this and really laughing. The same crap for weeks now. I feel sorry for the players who came to Berkeley thinking we had a capable creative coach. We don't. As for our team, I just don't want Kline to transfer. Tedford didn't ruin Boller. Kline may be in that class as well. Whoever is coaching next year, even Tedford, can't keep me from coming to see Kline play.

Tedford didn't ruin Boller? The negative views are starting to become quite comical.

So the whole playbook distills down to 6-8 options from the 2? Sure lessens what the "D" has to look for. I suppose what he's really saying is we only prepare a limited number of goal line plays for any particular game but if that's so, why not at least try one of the others? With Best, we were quite successful on the edge from in close; wouldn't that be worth a try with Bigelow? Oops, forgot...he might fumble!

Loved this one:

"We go in with six to eight plays down there, but you only get three. You don't get eight," Tedford said.

What does this even mean? Would it help to design just 3 plays to score from 1st and goal on the 2? Or, what if we had 100 plays to score in that situation. Would that help?

I assume he means that the game plan includes 6-8 plays considered optimal for use in goal to go situations which have been practiced in preparation for that particular game. Getting stuffed 3 times might suggest your opponent had also done some game planning and pretty much anticipated what you'd do. Locking in to a predetermined strategy in the face of evidence it was poorly conceived seems a bit curious.
