The race card is surely overplayed here. Sure they are keeping a questionable player on the team, but look at DeSean's contract and where he wants things to go. Money of all things, seem to be the driving factor.
Could there be legal issues? Maybe, the Eagles may know something is looming and didn't want to deal with it. But to cut a player because he's black is a pretty shallow analysis of what happened.

No one has said he was cut because he is black. What has been stated is that he was cut for cap issues and then the story was spun to allege gang involvement. Which is BS and could set a precedent for cutting anyone with alleged affiliations to gangs. Which would then be anyone from an area that has gang activity. Which can then lead to why even draft someone from those areas, they may be the next Aaron Hernandez.
