all you can infer "reasonably" from what he wrote is that those "people" who left the program were the ones pushed over the edge by the "environment [that] wasnt a fun or positive one".

It's exactly what I expected. I don't in my wildest dreams anticipate more than 5 wins (God I hope I'm wrong). Most of these people have been bitching about Cal football for decades. Old habits die hard and I doubt that this upcoming year will change them.

I have a funny feeling we might win some games this year, and maybe more than a few. Not sure why, but I think another factor is, the coaches are not stupid.

Now, if they steadfastly do the same ol' same ol' over and over, but it doesn't work, can I change my mind, and still maintain my self-diagnosed 'best post-er' award?
