Probably no chance Diddy ends up in the same jail as Suge Knight?

I heard about this on ESPN. What was this all about?

Douchebaggery and entitlement.
That actually might be evidence for the defense that diddy swinging a kettle bell wasn't going to hurt or kill anyone.bluehenbear;842509130 said:
OK, well I guess it's time to tell a story told to me by a former intern for Oliver Stone. He "interned" (i.e., went and got his weed and various other unpaid tasks...) while he was casting for "Any Given Sunday". Apparently P. Diddy REALLY wanted to play the part of the QB (that went to Jamie Foxx) and Stone was intrigued. However, when P. Diddy showed up for the audition, he had to turn him down as he "throws like a girl".

Could one legally boot a student off the team having hostile parents?

Of course not, but it's hard to see his son sticking with the school if the coaching staff doesn't drop the charges against his father.

This is why I frequently throw the baseball and football around with my kid. It's not like I want him to play the sport. I just don't want him to throw like a girl.

If it's on video and the UCPD arrested him, is it even up to the staff to bring charges at this point?

One article I read suggested that the staff did not want him arrested, which is believable to me (despite the kettlebell aspect of the story). It seems like the police treated this like a domestic violence type of situation, where the victim is not willing to press charges so they look for other evidence that allows them to make an arrest. Apparently Combs is claiming he picked up the kettlebell in self-defense. The way they piled up the charges, it will be real interesting to see how this plays out, and to see the video.

For Fiddy, throwing like a girl would be an upgrade:

This reminded me of the scene in Bull Durham where Tim Robbins hits the mascot and Bob Uecker, the announce, said something like "just a little bit outside"

not suggesting this will happen at Cal, but do we have any celebrity Dads among our student athletes? Kerr and Klinsman (soccer) come to mind.

Does he get more Street Cred for this?

The source said that Combs went to chat with the coach, but that he refused to talk. The situation then got heated and Combs went to call police, only to have Alosi allegedly grab at his cell phone. That's when Combs used the kettlebell as defense, the source continues.
