Rivalry game this Fri night with Thousand Oaks at Newbury Park. Shootout between Cal commit QB Max Gilliam (28 TDs, 3 INTs, 2287 yds) and Cal recruit QB Cameron Rising (34 TDs, 1 INT, 2652 yds). Senior vs Soph. Rising as a soph already has offers from Cal, WSU, and Oregon State.

"Cal-bound quarterback Max Gilliam led Thousand Oaks (8-2, 2-1), leading an 82-yard drive on 12 plays to set up the winning field goal. Gilliam completed 14 of 21 passes for 181 yards and a 7-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Kevin Howell. Gilliam also rushed for 84 yards on 15 carries, including an 11-yard touchdown run."
