And of the 16 points their offense scored, only one touchdown.

Yep. Fully aware. I think our new Aztec friends made that a clear a few hundred times this week. Just a hunch. We'll surely revisit in the coming days.

Hm, with all this confidence, I'm decidedly less confident. I'll revise mine.

35-21

We lose the coin toss and start slow and are limited by some 3 and outs/turnovers and they run the ball a lot to take time off the clock. In fact, they have a 8 minute drive in the first quarter.

We then start the second half much better and pull away in the late 3rd and early 4th.

This is not a guess. The numbers came to me in the middle of the night, and the message was strong and clear: Cal 73, SDSU 14.
