Agree. We're just not that good and probably never will be. We can't attract elite athletes in numbers. It's really that simple.

Yah seriously.....we may win 49-42, but it's looking more like we lose 41-17. Our defensive rebuild looks like a multi-year project, not a quick fix.

I can't tell if it's just Cal's luck that Texas found a QB after 5 years of horrible QB's the week before Cal, or if Cal just makes it look that way.

Problem remains that we just really can't generate much (any?) pressure bringing 4. But lets be frank- Texas has some remarkable athletes on the offensive side of the ball.
