Coming into the game Texas averaged 250 yards of offense. Tonight they racked up 650 yards. That's 400 over average...WTF.

I do think Heard is gonna be special. Kid is electric. Reminded me of Masoli shredding us but Heard is much more athletic (although Masoli was a load).

They are like "how did we win?" and I am guessing they would have rather done it themselves. And yeah, absent Goff hurting leg I think we would have been fine.
Guys, we won, home many times has a top ranked team squeaked out a win. Have we ever beat Texas? Yes, after tonight we have? How many times have we blown it. Something went our way, we played great on O, some struggles on D, but a win is a win. Go Bears! Go Bears! The Bear will not quit.

The problem was we were too conservative on offense. The d was on the field way too long. And don't forget, we got back in the game because the d played well in the 3rd. We got some great stops.

OK. But be balanced. Week 1 they played the other kid. Week 2 they played Heard for first time and they hadn't put in all of this triple read option.

I saw the post game interview on the field. Goff was honest - he said Cal lucked out.

Man that win feels like a loss. Giving up last minutes leads has become a legacy. On the last TD I was screaming at the TV DO NOT BLITZ UP THE OUTSIDE. He was QB drawing up the middle all game and you could tell he was itching to run there. Couldn't believe we left the middle open.

He is extremely elusive and fast, but I don't think he completed one pass to a WR who wasn't wide open. I'm sure that will change because we definitely helped his confidence tonight.
Hopefully, some more Texas recruits will be coming our way...

Honestly, I don't think you can judge the Texas offense yet. They completely retooled after the game to Notre Dame, and last week their offense barely touched the ball, due to turnovers and special teams.
Is goff ok? Can't believe how fair the officials were in half 2. Go Bears!

At least nobody on our defense is going to be in a complacent mood anymore this year. But our offense needs to not take the night off after the 3rd quarter as well.

I can agree with this but Texas had WIDE OPEN receivers much of the night and it any competent QB would have hit them. I think the new guy calling plays did a good job so Texas is much better than with the other OC. Still, you can't have wide open guys all over the place. That really is deflating and I would think it would be to players, coaches and fans alike.
