4. Speed, Speed, Speed - This is the fastest our team has been in a long time. Doeontae Cooper, "EZ Ike" Turner, Johnson, Honey Beaver, Cooper, Charlie McClutchins, John Ross III, etc. The newbies will be inexperienced but will bring something that we haven't had in past seasons, which is speed.

5. Time of Possession - I think we can dominate the time of possession stat. The more we can shorten the game and keep our offense off of the field, the better chance we have to win the game.



I think UW wins rather easily...say 34-17?

Having spent over two decades just north of King County (Woodway), I arrived there kind of disposed to UW but quickly discovered the irrational hubris of fuskie fans, Tyee-types being the worst. The 'Emerald City' is indeed grey, and the surrounding areas as the <boring> Douglas Firs changed into clear cuts, the woods rapidly disappearing into <boring> little enclaves serviced by strip malls. I won't start on how ridiculous the ferries are with three boat waits becoming the norm as the costs and breakdowns continue to mount. Getting to Bellevue was a hoot, and now the "freeway" is a toll-road, and they can only hope that another floating bridge doesn't sink, as happened.

Dominate? haha. Is this the same offensive line that produced 3.1 yards per play against Boise State? Impressive.

FYI, Idaho State (a 1-2 FCS team) averaged 3.7 yards per play against Boise St.

i don't have a good feeling about this game because I have a feeling it's going to come down to dykes vs. peterson.

Having seen your defense, the only way you can stop our passing is with a torrential downpour. And, if that happens, your newbie qb will be the more effected. Your running game will not be able to control the game - we're pretty good at stopping that (other than a surprising waterbug qb, which you don't have).

The most you have going for you is that we'll be playing our 2nd away game in a row...in a stadium in which we have not historically excelled. And, our STs have not played to the level of the rest of the team, thus far.

If it's wet, Cal 34-17.

If it's dry, Cal 52-24.

We don't suck at it. We just like playing with our food. Besides, he actually does a pretty entertaining impression of a husky fan. He did leave out "Keith Gilbertson is awesome.
