I think Favre is paying Rodgers back for this recent compliment.

Occasionally, I click on interviews between Aaron Rodgers and Pat McAfee. These are fairly long interviews (30 mins) and I'm happy to see the easygoing, funny, smart, and thoughtful aspects of Aaron's personality show though in this format. From the comments it seems like this weekly interview is one that many look forward to.

The ratio of likes to dislikes on just another Tuesday edition of the show seems pretty exceptional: 2.9K likes to 24 dislikes.

Rodgers not only got to 400 TDs faster than any other QB, but he was way way way more efficient in getting there. For instance, Rodgers threw 88 interceptions during the time for him to achieve the 400 TDs. Compare that with how many interceptions these guys threw to get to 400:

Brady: 143
Brees: 196
Manning: 196
Rivers: 202
Marino: 251
Favre: 258

This topic is hanky1 boiled down to his essence.

On the flip side, he could've been calling the shots for the 9ers in the 2005 draft when it came to their QB pick.

Couldn't you use that logic with pretty much every QB? Let's say Brady is horrible, because eventually he won't be able to play, even if it's in his 50s?

Rodgers looks pretty good for a guy who was washed up five years ago
