Rosen was a Cal lean for awhile up until we put up that season which we will not talk about.

I'm sure that was a factor, as it would be for most. I'm was under the impression that he had a soft spot for Cal, but the 2013 season was horrific of course. Lowest scoring team in the conference, and the passing attack that year certainly not appealing one bit... When CP was hired in early Dec 2013, I'm sure UW looked like the better option. Pretty hard to disagree as he's been a starter for two years, damn good numbers, and the team is in the top 10.

Heard that too... Both Rosen and Browning are appealing, but as explained elsewhere, I really like what I see in Browning. I was totally surprised how he received so little attention in 2015, certainly compared to Rosen.
In typical fashion, we had more 1st downs than them, more total offense than them, far better passing, and fewer penalty yards.

The really pathetic thing is that despite giving up record yardage to pumphrey the D actually did just enough to win except for special teams and offensive gaffes. This is a sloppily coached team. That's why we lost

I've seen more classy SDSU responses than Cal responses. Good luck. You guys doing well makes this a much more bearable loss (pun intended). However, our D may be horrifically bad, yet again.

Nothing. He's a freshman QB that wasn't an early enrollee. To get him into the game would require circumstances I don't even want to think about.

That's all well and good, but losing to that sds team is a sure sign that cal won't compete in the pac12. SDS would almost certainly be picked to finish last in either division in the pac12. It's some comfort perhaps that this was your biggest game of the year but cal obviously continues to be a clown show with a team built to win as long as the offense executes 90% of the time and scores 60 points a game.

But no, Cal is not (let alone "certainly") coached well. SDSU had trouble with our offense because the Aztecs are just a decent team. Texas is winnable for Cal only in the sense that anything can happen any given football game. I will be in the stands cheering like crazy in the hopes that it happens. But the Horns are a far better team than the Bears this year.
Hell, Hawaii, who was very lucky to beat (and was out-gained by) Tennessee-Martin last night, ran at will against Cal at a neutral site.

He's still getting back to form after an injury over his transfer season.
Didnt Wharton return like the most kicks and punts in high school history. It also doesn't look lole we are setting up any type of return.

I do not know and I'm not sure why Wharton is not getting a better return on punts. I am ready to reach a conclusion about him but I do agree that we do have other options.
