Well played. Still, it's a legitimate question -- does having an early TD settle Webb in moreso than it would another QB. Webb seems prone to emotional self-destruction. Is it being on the road, is it some sort of confidence issue, etc.? It just baffles me how not only is he inconsistent, but we can predict when he's inconsistent.

Totally agree, Webb was just atrocious even though he wasn't pressured much. Our D seemed to regress in the space of a few days. Hard game to watch despite the comeback.

Webb plays so well at times- tonight excluded- but kills us at the end of close games. Missed an easy game winning TD against SDSU, the pick against ASU, terrible passes tonight.. I wonder if it's a mental thing ?

Webb gets squirrely under pressure. He can't shoulder the weight of carrying this team to a win.

Right...and he's been doing it wrong for so long, he ain't changing now no matter who coaches him. It's like teaching Tebow to throw correctly. Ain't happening any time soon.

Beating WSU on the road is going to be about as hard as beating UW at home this year, the Cougs have torn up Furd on the road yesterday.

Footwork was one of the main strengths of Goff, Franklin coached him well over the three years Jared was at Cal.
