LOL!! In the mid-1970s, as a camper at a day camp, we did a 1 night a session sleep over. Counselors LOVED to do a night time hike out to the nike base and tell ghost stories. Then walk back.Richmondbear2 said:

Here are some photos of the Nike missile base at Tilden/Wildcat Canyon regional park. Just a couple of missile pads left now. As a kid wandering around up there I remember more debris, storage tanks, etcc. Looks like the area was cleaned up in 1974 when the land was deeded to the EBRPD
