Upsets happen (well not usually for us) but the score will be surprising to most.Big C said:

I thought we were supposed to keep politics out of this. Besides Shepherd scored only 33 but the Constitution requires 35.

Shepherd's dunk put an exclamation mark on the first half and his what-the-hell three-pointer did the same at the very end!

" The Bears' star was Jordan Shepherd, who scored a career-high 33 points, the most points scored by any Pac-12 player this season and the most by a Cal player since Don Coleman scored 35 points in a loss to Wichita State on Nov. 20, 2017." Jake Curtis,SI

If that dunk had been over a defender, it'd have to be in contention for greatest Cal dunk of all time. Even as is, it's gotta be in the top 50 or so. That's the fourth in the last several weeks for the baby-faced grad transfer!

Best dunk in the last 5 years. Let's put him in the top 25!, I don't remember Ed Gray splitting two defenders, leaving one on the ground, and finishing with a behind the head 2 hand slam.

This team could have packed it in with Kelly's injury, and has instead stepped-up. That shows character. The players and coaches deserve credit.
