Anyone else at the games? My first tourney game. Crowd is half interested. Weird vibes.

while I was reading the article about Vanover, I noticed the article about Bradley:

St Peters is fun to watch. Holloway is doing a-great job.

I said St Peter's run will end because St Peter's undersized bigs would not match up with UNC's bigs
at the half:
St Peter's bigs: 6 pts (3-10), 8 rebounds
UNC bigs: 20 pts (8-16), 19 rebounds
Ah, season's almost over. Time to relax. Here's a little Mose as Son #7 for you:bearister said:HoopDreams said:

Like Mose Allison, you are a sage.
"Uh... we'd like to carry on now, and play a song originally recorded by Mose Allison, who's really a jazz musician, and I did read something on one of his record covers which said he was a "jazz sage." And, uh, quite what that means, I don't know, but, uh." Pete Townshend
yes he sure would Bearister. Also take his snack money.bearister said:
"How fascinating would it be to see Vanover match up against Gonzaga's 7-1 freshman sensation Chet Holmgren?"
Holmgren would eat "The One that Got Away's" breakfast, lunch and dinner ….and then dip his pigtails in the inkwell.

Agreed. His value is at its peak right now.bearister said:
My son said he ain't no Durant (yeah, I know, duh) and he thinks he will get abused in the paint in the NBA.
Skinny is his genetic map. He would have to windmill roids and hose down shakes. You will never fundamentally change him.
If we learned anything from Ivan Rabb's journey it is that if Holmgren is overvalued now, he should go for the brass ring and the gold krugerrands while they are still on the table. If he stays another year and doesn't show well (like Rabb did), it could cost him millions….or worse, he gets hurt.

Kenny Smith was being charitable saying that he is glad his alma mater won but also happy that the blame for losing can't be hung on anyone at Duke. WRONG!
Whoever was part of the 12 for 20 from the FT line owns the loss. Missing that many FT in a game of that importance is a major, major
Or he could get paid millions of dollars next year and train/eat on an NBA team's dime.wifeisafurd said:yes he sure would Bearister. Also take his snack money.bearister said:

Holmgren was the top rated recruit in his class, and looks like it. Disturbingly skilled for his size, though he needs another year of college ball to gain some good weight. Vanover was a 3 star project, and apparently still is a project.
Until UNC's center sprained his ankle, I would have picked UNC because of Lovewifeisafurd said:

Agree. Its a real shame they did nothing to Arizona. The whole system is corrupt. Plus who in their right mind could justify hiring the donut man . We will never make the ncaa tournament if we dont pay the players.Big C said:
Some will disagree, but I would root for UCLA over Kansas or Carolina (or Kentucky). Now, replace UCLA with Arizona and I'm not so sure, especially the past several years.

Now I'm not sure
but I hate both teams, so what ever

Charlie Moore solid in the Tourney. Haven't seen any blame directed at Mark Fox for his departure. Inconceivable.

I grew up rooting for UCLA and have a ton of friends that went there, so I have zero problem rooting for them In games that do not involve Cal (ie the NCAA Tournament). My support for Arizona is much more tepid, basically PAC-12 and West Coast solidarity.
It is interesting the number of people who condemn Arizona and the fact they escaped sanctions but think hiring Pasternak is okay citing the fact that he evaded sanctions.
However, if Pasternak is the only guy who can get the big donors to make a change, then so be it.
