Thanks to Barnes rushing a 3 with 17 seconds left, and again missing from 3 from the same spot, just left of top of the key.

Only 11 turnovers.
And +7 from the line!

Is Harrison Barnes a double agent? Lousy execution on the last play where they didn't need a 3. Good defense by Steph.

Choke.
Barnes missed two identical shots in the last minute.

I want to declare victory on this topic now…..because you were happy and I was throwing up in my mouth*, which is never that fun.

1) only if you swallowed.
2) if that's winning, I'm glad to take the L.
Way to cut and paste my words to change the meaning of what I wrote. I guess you were being funny, so... cool.

I was.
I confess.
Thanks for laughing with me (kind of). That's why you get invited to so many parties. Mr. Nice guy.
I understand if you don't want to show up.
Peace!

It appears the NBA wants a Kings/Lakers rematch. They're actually letting the kings play. Hoping they don't blow this one.

I thought so, too!
But late there were some favorables for us.
Like, they FINALLY called Sabonis for the banging charge on Looney.
And then there were some blocks at the rim where whistles were swallowed. Perhaps appropriately so.

I'm satisfied.

responding to a few posters on their game comments

Diablo ... yes, Green had a horrible scoring game (his last attempt was particularly bad considering he couldn't put the rock in the hoop all game, and still forced it against a set defender), but defensively he was forcing steals, blocking shots and overall locking down the paint over a tough, bigger post scorer (he also defended Fox several times)

Bearister,.. yes, the Curry TO was reminiscent of the Webber TO. It may have been even worse as Sac got a T and the ball where they hit a 3. Warriors also had something like a 4 on two the previous play with Klay completely wide open in the corner, but with a lazy pass and the run back and score on the other end it was another 2-5 point swing.

AnarcistBear and Concord ... considering Barnes played on the Warriors team, he had the perfect opportunity to spoil the party. He had a lot of time and space on that last shot as Curry was coming at him from the side and really couldn't contest the shot

Warriors seem to play better when they are behind. When they think they can cruise to a win, they lose focus. If the Warriors dropped this one due to the two bad mistakes they would have had a very hard time living with the loss going back to Sac down 3-1

Dray is having a solid game with the exception he is shooting too much. He is currently 3-14….meaning that is most likely constructively 11 turnovers.

But his positives out weighed the negative today.

I've long been unsure what to think of DG. And he always misses so many bunnies from 3 feet. It's frustrating.

I had told a friend before this game (he got on a plane for Finland just after the game ended and he watched from the airport bar) that the kings would win the series, that DG would opt out as the W's told him he'd be a bench player next year with no new contract, and so today's game would be the very last time he's see DG in a warriors uniform.

Yo, we won, but it could still happen!!

6 full inches. That hit hard off back iron. No credit for near miss on that one from me.

Great game!
Great series!!

Who can claim with confidence that either team has the advantage. 2 games in Sac, and the W's have been weak on the road.

It's a coin flip.
Or, 6". Which IS whiskers for a 7-game series.

ESPN decided to turn up Doris' mic up and make this into her show after she had a triple expresso at half time. The game is just a sideshow.

Ha!
She's not my favorite.

And I also noticed that she wore the cleavage revealing blouse, something I'm not accustomed to seeing on her. Also, her facial skin looked smoother/tighter/younger.

Disappointing that it's a visual medium and women bear the brunt of that.

One of the commercials during the game was for a singing contestant show which had Lionel Richie and Smokey Robinson. My goodness!!! Face lift city!!!

….and Curry almost had a Full Monty with regard to losing the game:

The timeout he called followed by his missed 2 point floater that, had Barnes made his 3, would have resulted in a 2 point loss instead of a tie forcing OT had Steph made the floater. Warriors survived that entire minefield.

I actually kinda felt sorry for Barnes, for the exact reasons you mentioned.

And, yes, if Fox is unselfish and goes around Steph/Dray, curry becomes a goat (the bad kind) and the narrative is that he's washed up, as they are eliminated. Ha! So fickle.

AND the Kings blew a great opportunity!
Lucky from W's perspective.
Frustrating from Kings'.

Like, that has to feel like "maybe we just can't get over the hump".

Kings could have easily lost game 1, same could be said for Warriors last night. This series appears headed for 7, naturally, and that's good for the game, and both fan bases. Just an incredible matchup. The best of them all right now.

When people think Klay is having an off shooting game, consider that it may be because he is exhausted from playing lock down D:

Did the Lakers go to the Gene Cousineau Drama School to learn to pretend you took major blunt force trauma to the nards?

If I was Emperor I would eject any player clearly faking it.

I'd be one of those who mis-scouted him. He could definitely score from anywhere. But I had serious doubts that he would be able to ever play nba level defense.

They call you Lady Luck
But there is room for doubt
At times, you've had a very unlady-like way of running out

You're on this date with me
The Pickens have been lush
And yet before this evening is over
You might give me the brush

You might forget your manners
You might refuse to stay
And so the best that I can do is pray

Luck be a lady tonight
Luck be a lady tonight
Luck if you've ever been a lady to begin with, luck be a lady tonight

Kings' Fox says he's 99-100% gonna play game 5, with a split?

It's the tip of his index finger on his shooting hand. Uh, should the W's just sag off him into the paint? I don't know how one shoots from distance that way.

Let Draymond guard him. His finger will be missing by the second quarter.
