Great points, but so easy to counter, unlike what u said

Put Vanderbilt on Draymond, viola. If they screen vando goes on klay and curry, which is exactly what the lakers want.

There is a reason these guys are professional coaches and we are just fans

Game Three: Worst game I've seen my team play, on TV or in person, since Mark Fox was coaching at Cal.

Ugh.

The Warriors have had a lot of really crappy games over the past two seasons. They have also had stretches of really good basketball during both a regular season and playoffs. They are wildly inconsistent.

If the team that spends the most time in the paint gets the most foul calls, explain why the points in the paint differential was 2 points, but the Lakers shot 20 more FT.

Warriors can't play defense without fouling?

Too small

One adjustment could be to move AD off of draymond. It's just too easy to run PnR at AD. I think switching lebron onto green could help. Lebron could defend the PnR better and you could keep AD in the paint.

Yeah I posted the above a couple days ago

Kerr is always too slow to make adjustments. But he will make the adjustment next game by just keeping curry on ball more and either hunting reeves or just PnR'ing whoever AD is guarding (even if it's not green).

Kerr's mistake was that his adjustment to the lakers switching AD off of green was to run curry off ball. I doubt that's going to happen again. It's going to be tiring for Steph, but he's going to be on-ball the rest of the series

If GS fouls in the paint the Lakers get the FTs but not points in the paint for those possessions. If Lakers aren't fouling all GS scoring in the paint counts toward the tally. Points in the paint becomes skewed.

Teams have been targeting Reaves all season long so he will be up to the task.

Weren't the Warriors up by 10 early in the 2nd quarter? Lebron didn't even have a field goal at that point. Then the Warriors had consecutive unforced turnovers and all hell broke loose. The only silver lining to this is that I'm glad I wasn't the Warrior fan who shelled out big bucks to attend the game in L.A.

Yeah. Up 11 actually. Then turnovers, fouls, technicals (4 in the first half), rushed poor shot selection, and total loss of poise and focus. This ain't championship DNA, and they better re-establish it pronto. The end of Dynasty looms. I'm not ready to give up on them yet. But I'm getting awfully close.

When my son made the freshman hoop team at DLS, at the initial meeting with the parents, Coach Allocco made the article below mandatory reading. He ran the program like a military operation, and if you were soft, you were better off playing elsewhere.

I think this is a pretty solid run down. I predict we will not have a blow out. More like Game 1 and the team that executes gets the W. TBD

Just sitting around kibitzing wit the ole gang and we are wondering where the smart money is going tonight on Game 4? Is 2.5 points enough?

Things looking good for GS. A million layups and the 3s will eventually start falling. I may be proven wrong on that no blowout prediction.

….but start of 2nd half:

Warriors from arc: Game 1: 40%, Game 2: 50%; Game 3: 30% ; Game 4 with 9 min left: 29%.

With 3:52 left, Splash Brothers are 5-19 from arc. W's currently 26% from Trey

Consecutive turnovers by Draymond and Steph at the end is brutal for GS.

not sure why Curry took that long shot with 12 seconds on the shot clock and AD defending him, but Curry looked wiped… I think he just didn't have anything left

even if he hit that shot and forced OT, I doubt Warriors would have won this one with Curry with 5 fouls

the matchup i think is a big problem is Lebron switching to Curry… just exhausted him and got him in foul trouble

100% agree. The commentators are banging on AD for not scoring in the 2nd half but it seemed obvious the Lakers decided to PNR to go at Steph and Klay, make them play D and wear them out.

If it's a series of coaching adjustments Kerr won the 1st half but Ham won the game with that halftime adjustment.

The jump ball call was garbage. The Warriors were intentionally fouling from behind!

And yes, Curry took the shot too early in the shot clock trying to be the hero. Run the offense.

Kudos to Lonnie Walker. Might be the biggest game of his career.

Might?

Lakers were lucky to win. Running the offense through Lebron was a mistake. To borrow a phrase, the only guy who can stop AD from scoring in this series is Lebron. Walker bailed out a lot of really bad Lebron decision making.

What happened to Klay and Poole? Felt like Steph was doing it all but you need to spread it around.

Walker has had some good scoring games before. His career high is 31. Not in the playoffs obviously. Definitely it was the best 4th quarter he has ever had but not sure where it might rank. Only he can say for sure. It was a great 4th quarter, though.

So, Poole comes out a couple of minutes before halftime. complaining about something or other... almost looked like he was crying. If he played in the second half, it wasn't much... at all. Zero points? Seemed like a story that nobody picked up on. Well, they will, I'm pretty sure. 20/20 hindsight, I'm guessing the Warriors wish they hadn't given him that huge contract.

Klay disappeared again.
Literally had 6 points in the entire game until he hit that "3" late.
If the Warriors are gonna bounce back and tie this series back up leading to a Game 7, KLAY CANNOT DISAPPEAR.

PS. I thought that Kuminga would finally see some playing time in the Laker's series given better match-ups for him.
Sadly, Kerr doesnt trust him enough with this moment.
