I don't think I could handle two games in one night.

You know I respect your opinion, so which game do you think would be more interesting?

And which team is predicted to be the better team in their conference?

Thanks in advance.

With a new coach and new scheme I think the men's game would be more interesting.

both teams have a lot of new players, although not sure all the men's transfers will be playing.

on the other hand, the women should have a completely different look so it will be interesting how they play

A lover of G'town as well as Cal (#1), I can tell you Ed Cooley, as good as he is, will not be ranked above Madsen for long....He is having the same re do problems in DC that we have right here, but he is doing it more slowly thru recruiting more than transfer portal...A more slow but sure fashion vs. Madsen's speed start....So my guess is that Cal will definitely do better in OOC games, and then Big East is as tough or tougher than the Pac 12 this year (yes, look at the rankings), so MM may do better in league play....We shall see....I would bet on MM.

Ed Cooley also has Mark Fox as his NIL fundraiser/administrator. That's a huge handicap.

You are so right. I have pointed it out here and on the G'town site endlessly. I don't know why other than the greater coaches fraternity.

If you are Bay Area maybe Pac 12...If you are out of town, Pac12 online should do it.

Coaching skills aside, I can't think of anyone with a personality less suited to fundraising than Mark Fox.

quick, add them to the b'ball schedule. For every trip we make back east in the ACC, swing by DC for a quick win.

Uh, Mark Fox is not the coach, but their NIL director....Their coach is Ed Cooley, a very good one from Providence who is rebuilding G'town like Mark Madsen is at Cal. Would be interesting games but not a pushover any more much like us.

Understand but I was having fun with the post that said he was 'successor-in-waiting'
