Anyone know the context behind this?

That's too bad. Mouthy teenagers a waste of time. Shouldn't confront or attempt to educate, just ignore.

Might have taught the little sh@it a lesson. He wanted to inject himself into the game, then he gets the whole enchilada. Bob Lanier gave a fan that once.
Bob Lanier won the Vitalis One on One Competition. They had to stop holding the competition when some of the bigger NBA stars complained it hurt their image when they got beat by lesser players.
If this is true, there needs to be consequences for that fan. I'm not condoning Aimaq's actions, but it puts them in a completely different light.PTBear said:
Not sure about the whole story but in the comments someone mentioned that the heckler called him a terrorist and to get it off the country. If true, he showed more restraint than I would have

Looks to me like AF simply spoke to him. We don't know what was said.
If the guy was labeling him a terrorist and telling him to get out the country I have no issues with AF speaking to him . He didn't get physical. It was a brief conversation.
And yes, security needs to toss that guy if that's what he's shouting.
Fardaws is a gentle, kind hearted person. When he left Texas Tech, his DMs filled with horrible, unimaginable things from fans, and he didn’t react. This fan hurled racist insults all game, called him a terrorist and told him to leave the country. I would never encourage a player… https://t.co/fczZMlzynw pic.twitter.com/tXT9rmOTy4

I've been astonished with how bitter and horrible the Texas Tech fanbase has been toward Fardaws and Tyson on PUBLIC social media comments. Don't even want to imagine the horrible **** they've been receiving in private message. I hope that school loses every game it plays in every sport for the rest of time.

Good job but I would have softened the closing part because he didn't do anything wrong.

That is why I laugh when Texas is portrayed as Nirvana and lots of people are leaving California to live there. Even if it was nice, you would still have to put up with a$$h@le Texans.
When I was young and traveling in Mexico and Europe, I can't tell you how many times I was embarrassed to be an American abroad when a group of those drunk, arrogant, ignorant and uncouth pieces of sh@it would roll into a hotel, restaurant or bar and start throwing their weight around. It comes as no surprise to me that they have yet to evolve.
