Correct. The two entrances break up the main floor student section into 3 separate sections.


So stupid. But what is crazy is they spent a lot of money to ruin what made Harmon/Haas great just to provide "better" access for a few people. Reminds me of how Caltrans spent alot of money ruining the look of San Francisco with the Embarcadero Freeway.

Just got tickets for me and my two grandsons. I used to take them to a game or two each year, but stopped when Fox made the team unwatchable. Glad to be back.

Very few tickets available, at least for 3 sitting together.

I think Madsen is going to be at least the third best coach in Cal's history and may sneak by Montgomery for second place.

Exactly what I am pushing for and Mark Madsen is 100% supporting this - its about increasing the home court advantage and giving the team an edge - plus giving the students better seats and the result is a better overall supporting atmosphere. Likely will take some donation dollars to get it done.

Haven't seen this brought up yet, but do we have a longterm plan for the new TV platform?

I get that we probably didn't think we'd actually have sell outs this year, so blocking an entire section of seats wasn't a big deal. But if madsen can actually turn this thing around, we're gonna need those seats man

It is a big game. For a lot of reasons. It is always good to beat UCLA even if they are down a little like this season. A sweep would be great. Re establishing Haas as a great home court advantage is huge. The big programs simply rarely lose at home. When Cal has had good teams they are very tough at Haas.

A couple of things that make Cal attractive to potential recruits are immediate PT and style of play. If they start to win more even better. But transfers will want to play. Tyson has shown a path for elite transfers that are looking for a place to showcase. There will be mid major and low major programs with players that have developed that will be wanting to play in a great league like the ACC.

Madsen has the personality and network to be attractive to transfers and HS players alike. I expect 2024 class to be mostly transfers, but 2025 could produce a HS class that will be very highly regarded. If the collective is funded well enough Cal could land another good transfer class in hoops.

There was, to an extent, IMO. It's generational. Like when they had that question on the scoreboard a few games ago, Michael or Lebron for GOAT? Most of the players picked Lebron. I was like, what?!?

The Gen Z crowd is more attuned to the individuals, celebrity, etc... and I can't name a single player for UCLA (rare).

markeisha is not only obstinate but she's also 100% incompetent to serve as cal's sales/marketing director, she should be working for the university's parking enforcement team monday thru friday with 9:00 am to 5:00 pm meter reading shifts...and if cal fans see her dumb azz at haas this afternoon they should tell her that & ask her if the students are gonna be offered FREE tixs to the season ending oregon & oregon state games?

I think Askew's final injury has helped Cal. The team knows itself much better since the "PG" finally got settled with Askew out for the season. Cone has played much more steadily since then, and Tyson is much more in control of the offense (especially in crunch time) since then. The team took off at that point.

Otoh, I do think it would be very helpful for Okafor to return. Had been hoping it would be for furd game a couple weeks ago. Fingers crossed it can happen soon and ND can get some good run in before conference tournament.
