Just read that this is the first win over an ACC team since 1951. Let that sink in. We are bad, historically bad on a national level but unfortunately not even close to historically bad for Cal.

Can't recall if this was Cornell's first win over an ACC team or an ivy League school in general's first win.

Hot take: Lots of talk on the football boards about assistant coaches. Madsen needs to hire some guys that can compliment his strengths. Let's hope tonight was the nadir of Madsen's years at Cal.

If Cal can't figure things out quickly, like how to play defense, things could get really ugly when we enter the regular ACC season schedule.
