Not aimed at you specifically. Lots and lots of people have adopted the antiquated term..
I don't mind the music when the band's not playing but it doesn't need to be as loud as it is.
Fair enough. I don't mind ithe music either when the band's not playing, even at its current volume, if once in a while there can be a sequence of NO MUSIC, allowing spectators to actually talk to each other without yelling.
I tried to have a conversation with one of our subscribers at halftime last night and we had to yell as loud as we could to hear each other
Did you happen to be at the Stanford/Cal women's basketball game last week? Now I am about to turn 50 so take that for what it's worth but I thought the noise level of the music being played there was perfect. Not loud and in your face. I also don't recall them having a mic-person and if they did it was just yelling during TV timeouts or pauses in play. Regardless I felt like they have figured out the optimal sound levels but perhaps it's catering to the uppity old crowd but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Give to Cal Legends!
