I think this is ridiculous to worry about. He came here as an elite recruit. He came to play and stand out. He will continue to showcase his skills here. He's going to the next level. To leave and gamble on that makes little sense to me as long as we pay what he's worth.

We don't play good defense. We can't shoot. We don't make halftime adjustments because Madsen doesn't know how, and neither does his sidekick. This team should be obliterating Miami. Hope we win. This is really badly coached hoops though. Cleveland left wide freaking open. Smh

That's what you call "gutting it out." Great win, our resilience and heart came through even while Miami was lights-out on 3s (especially late). 14 wins seems very attainable, or how about a .500 record?

Campbell received a good pick to get open for that 3 at the end of regulation. But if Wilkinson doesn't miss a free throw, the it wouldn't have mattered, but I can't complain about Wilkinson's game.

I'm sure the game plan was to let Miami take those deep shots because they haven't been making them this year. And Madsen kept to that game plan even as Miami heated up. Miami made 3-5 in OT including their final two inside of 20 seconds to go.
Yes - Cal almost let an 8 point lead slip away in the final 24 seconds - but the key is that the Bears didn't let it slip away.

Inexplicable how Miami let Wilkinson just keep driving left over and over and over again in the last few minutes of regulation. Thankful they did so!

Sissoko (2-3) and Dort (4-6) between them were 6-9. Seems like Cal is leaving points on the floor.

Madson said in the radio interview that they intended to foul any player facing away from the basket. He wasn't certain whether there just wasn't any such opportunity or if our players lost their defensive assignments.
