Great observation that Madsen makes stars out of good players
Tyson got drafted first round and plays some PG in the NBA. That would not have happened at other schools. Madsen saw the talent, developed him, and designed an offense that made him successful
Ditto Andrej and Wilkinson, and now Bell and Ames.
Ames is freaking amazing
This year he has the team that can play an NBA style which should also be a recruiting selling point.
Regarding Cronin, I said when he was hired it was a bad match for ucla repeating the mistake they made with defense hardliner Howland
Incredibly Cronin is even worse. Can't believe anyone wants to play for him as he just insults his players constantly
Of course both coaches had success in the tournament but I still think they are bad matches
