Don't we have Jaylen Brown, Jabari Bird, and Jordan Mathews? I sure they'd love to shoot the ball every once in a while. They probably wouldn't feel the need to force shots if they felt they'd get the ball when they are in a position to score. Combined they don't have as many shot attempts as Wallace.

Bird and Mathews were not on the floor at the same time because we had to bring in Moute to defend Adams. Brown hasn't show (yet) great skills in the half court when the other team is zoning.

I thought the CHARGE was ball hog in the extreme. I hate that he was stripped trying to drive into all those bodies at the end of the half but I generally thought it was OK.

agree...I think Moute is getting it on defense now, and he's worked so hard on his shooting that I'm okay with him taking an open catch and shoot

Wallace is about the only perimeter guy hitting shots, though. I guess I was a bit hard on him. Good decisions on his shot selection in the second half so far. Brown and Mathews having a really tough time putting it in the hole today.

I've said for a while that Wallace needed to develop a pull up jumper
seems like he's done that. overall his shooting is improved from last year
looks like a good decision for him to return

also, we FINALLY ran a pick and roll for Ivan, and guess what...

Good start. Took the punch and didn't get rattled. Love the pick and roll 2 man with Wallace and Rabb. But hey, Martin can't coach.

Also keep in mind. This is just game 2 of moving Rabb to the 4. The smurf experiment was exposed against SDSU,

A lot of these "foul" calls are borderline at best. You can tell Rabb is backing off on D to avoid getting hosed.

and that is OK. Understand the way the game is called and hope they call it both ways. More pick and rolls with Rabb.

Yup. Just amazingly soft hands for a big guy. I also like that Brown is figuring out against the 2-3 that the elbow seam is there if he wants. Next step is for him to look for the dump off assist to a cutter.

Yeah - second game with Bird as first guy in. Sadly as a way of keeping Rabb out of foul trouble didn't work. Better in the second half but now is sitting with four. I fear for the outcome.
