Running out of time and down ten. I think that's it. Although the writing was, IMHO, on the wall when Bird was announced as out.

What a shame to end the season this way, with Wallace and Bird unable to play. Story of a Cal fan, I guess. At least the Warriors are playing tonight.

Just look at the great ones who stayed in for 3/4 years. If your going to get better, you sure will get stronger, and more experience playing vs NBA practice fodder. Can you even imagine Brown in an NBA game at this point? I believe those designated top 10 picks at allowed by the NCAA to purchase insurance in case of injury. But my bet is he will be gone, and lets get in some non 4 stars and build a program the right way.

Yeah - teams have learned that when you force him to go left he is slower and you can pick up the charges. See the post a while back from anonymous Pac-12 coaches.

Actually yes, the 2010 team was probably better. But the bad Pac-10 that year meant they couldn't show it.
