Great effort by the Bears today. Looking forward to next year already assuming Bird gets over his back issues. Congrats to Hawaii. They were definitely the better team today and their big man is great. If he had not gotten in foul trouble this would have been a blowout.

I was worried, but I really didn't think it was possible we would play this poorly...and we would be this unlucky with injury...or they would be that lucky (they had to have 5 total bricks that went in). Congrats to them, but this is humiliating. We waited for a team like this for 20 years and we don't win conference, don't win conference tournament, then are one and done with freak injuries and a sex scandal. This hurts my soul.
Would have beat them handily likely just having Jabari.

Well guys it was fun talking with you all this time i am sorry we have to share this horrible misery again. I have to go get drunk and be sad, I dunno anymore. Life sucks.

Being totally honest, when their #1 (jovanavich sp) went out, they went flat for a LONG time. We should have been able to grab a lead there. Outcome could have been very different.

You need the perspective that comes with time. After 50 years as a fan, you acclimate to this. It does not hurt as much when it is (half?) expected.

I'm actually fairly excited to see this trio of seniors plus K2 as juniors, Hopefully we can pick up some good frosh talent, but we should have a very strong team.
Welp good season Bears. TBH i'd rather lose vs Hawaii than what would of happened to us vs Maryland (and what will happen to Hawaii). Such a disadvantage this team got 2 days before the Dance. Thanks Ty for your 4 years. I wish you all the luck moving on.

Maybe. But this loss I mostly put down to losing two starters right before the game. That's not coaching, that's just rotten luck.

What ...a....nightmare of a game.
We showed we really had no depth. I wish we would have been able to develop some of those guys on the bench a little bit better.

everyone on the bench on schollie should be encourage to transfer. they can't even play, guard or shoot against a big west team! i'm not optimistic about roman, Coleman and Jolly.
cm need to step up his coach... why not f--- zone when you're short staff and can't afford to foul.
