I feel like the earth has tilted from its normal axis. Not sure we can beat the Thunder the way things are going. And certainly not if Green is suspended for a game. Worried....

Yes they are in trouble. Can't see them beating OKC playing the way they are. OKC one of the few teams requiring a defensive stopper presence in the post. W's have neglected that this season.

+1...Slight worry after game 1, followed by 30 point win in a runaway...Next game determines.

Will Draymond get suspended?
Warriors are getting schooled at the Center position and going small hasn't worked as well as it has in the past.

Yes they are done. Temper expectations and focus on baseball.

Hope I'm completely wrong

GSW fans worry now? yes..... (if you watched game 3) Sunday's game was the worst loss in 2 years... with that said, the mo can turn back.. but that starts with game 4.

GSW went down 2 to 1 to Memphis and Cavs last year... so, GSW can come back... but game 4 obviously is key...

A point of reference is game 1 of the 1985 finals, the Lakers got thumped on by the Celtics..148 to 114, but came back to win in 6.

Worried a bit but they were down 2-1 in cleveland last year. Game 4 is it. Dubs pull it off they are just finebif not its over.

SI curse - Green was on the cover last week.

amazing how different the teams can look on alternating nights.
does the nba script this stuff so as to increase fandom and revenue?

Effort was clearly not there last night. Tomorrow will tell the tale. Without Draymond, it would look grim. With him, winning one in OKC should do it.

Just hope history doesn't repeat: 1975--Warriors win title; 1976--best record in the NBA, loss in conference finals.

They did not look good enough last night. And I've always loved Durant from his year at Texas. I couldn't believe people were considering drafting ANYONE ahead of him, and that has turned out to be true. I played a draft league that year and watched an insane amount of college hoops all season long. He was INCREDIBLE. Westbrook is lightning fast, and now defenses are focusing on Curry and Thompson and the rest of the surrounding cast is not good enough. It's taken a long time for the League to catch up to stopping the Splash Brothers, but it appears the defenses have arrived. W's wound't have won last year had the Cavs not been injured. May not even matter this year whomever survives the West. Without the title, W's can't say they are best ever. Too bad, was hoping so.

Yes, Curry succumbs to injuries, Barnes signs elsewhere, some other development, and we are right back where we started. Oh if only that could happen to our Bears!

Warriors are not losing much at this point, he has been AWOL the entire playoffs, save for a few shots against Portland. Green probably getting suspended tonight.

Definitely in big trouble. Unlike in previous series when they were down, I don't see an obvious matchup advantage they can exploit. Basically, they just have to play better, and (most importantly) make shots. Way too many layups and other good looks missed in the 2nd quarter last night, which led to Westbrook going off in the transition game. You can't play defense against OKC when he's careening down the floor on a broken play; you need to force them to play half-court sets and execute their offense (when they are prone to turnovers).

Maybe the NBA wants LeBron to win in Cleveland.
He goes down as one of the all-time greats and needs more than 2 titles about as much as Cleveland needs 1.

NBA gonna mix it up while Lakers and Celtics reload:
Oakland
Cleveland
Oklahoma City

then back to our regularly scheduled powerhouses.

The W's are still in this series but yes, next game is huge/pivotal.

Back-to-back championships are extremely difficult, and OKC and Cleveland are both playing well.

W's can still pull it out. If nothing else it will be great hoops going forward. That's good for the W's, they need a real rival.

p.s. the SJ Sharks bandwagon is starting to board.

After watching the video a few times I don't see how his leg action was promoting upward thrust to elevate for a shot. The Power of SI Compels Him! The Power of SI Compels Him!

His best defense is that he was just flopping to draw a foul and happened to get Adams in the wrong place.

That was my take when I saw the replay. It looked to me that he was trying to emphasize the foul and that he was in the act of shooting to get to the line.

I wouldn't be too worried yet. That was the worst defense I've seen a team play in a long time. Awful rotation, continually leaving weak side assignments, collapsing and forgetting the rest of the Thunder's players etc. it seemed like they simply didn't come ready for a game. Getting blown out like that is the best thing that could have happened. If they show that effort and lose close they feel it's potentially acceptable. Now they know if they turn their brains off on defense they'll get demolished.

As for Green, he should be suspended but I don't think he will be. If he is then it is panic time.

I think it's still suspendable but I think what happened is he kicked up out of frustration not caring where he hit Adams. I don't think it was a calculated groin attempt but he meant to kick wherever it landed.

It's worth noting that in the last couple of playoffs, the Warriors have tended to look awful in Game 3 on the road (only Houston last year was the exception, where they won Game 3 in a blowout but did then lose Game 4). It goes without saying they still managed to win those series.

Which is as good a reason as any to put an end to flopping by assessing a technical foul for doing it. The refs are going to get that call right 90% of the time. If LeBron had been flagged for flopping how many replay reviews do you figure there would have had to be to confirm the call was correct? Guys like Chris Paul would be put out of business by such a rule. Bill Laimbeer is the first player I remember flopping and it has been all downhill since.

OKC 2016 playoffs took care of a formidable Spurs (winning 2 at Spurs) in 6. Made Spurs look old and slow.. (a very good Spurs team)
Memphis 2015 playoffs, did not have firepower of 2016 OKC....

More worried going into 2016 OKC game 4 than I was with 2015/Memphis with an OKC's Batman/Robin with as much firepower as GSW's Batman/Robin.

Sharks are tied in the series, as opposed to down 2-1. Could go either way but it does seem the Sharks have been here before and failed.

Results change so hugely from game to game, hard to predict anything.

That said, the Dubs may be down 3-1 with Green. When the Thunder are playing good defense, so that they get the ball without taking it out of the net, with Durant and Westbrook they can destroy an opponent...

In past series, I have seen Westbrook wear down Paul and also Parker. He is a huge load for Steph to have to defend a good part of the time, bigger and faster and stronger.

Yeah, I"m kind of surprised Steph has been on Westbrook as much as he has. I'd put Klay on him, and maybe play Clark a little bit more, fresh young legs.

Draymond needs to stop trying to get into Adams head and get his own head into the game as well as control his emotions. He needs to be a bigger contributor in order for the Warriors to win against OKC.

I think the plan was to to have Steph on him early, then some combo of Klay/Iggy later. But they had early foul trouble in this game so that kind of blew up the plan.
