Everyone acts like the dubs have no chance. The spread is -2.

If you disagree with the spread, you know what you can do.

I think the W's have a chance to steal the game in OKC. It's not a huge chance but it's there and they're an exceptional team. Basically the question is if OKC shows up and how, and if the W's can jump them, smash them in the mouth. It will be interesting to see if Bogut gets big minutes and is effective.

Based on what I (and others) have been saying about the refs controlling the game: Watch who gets the two quick fouls and has to leave the game early. If it's Bogut, Homerism prevails. If it's Steven Adams, and they call a couple charges (which enrage Westbrook, Durant et al, because they never get called for the same play), you'll know that the Association really wants that 7th Game, from Oracle.

So, who do YOU think will win.

For the record, I'm betting on OKC.
So long, W's era.

Kuddos to Bearister on calling out Klay Thompson for being a good NBA player.
Wow, I didn't see it coming.

Just get another decent power forward/center and this team is back in the Finals talk next year.

Smart money is on OKC but compromised Warriors have the hearts of champions so if they throw their helmets and empty .45 sidearms like Sgt. Mike in Saving Private Ryan they have a puncher's chance.

I liked the change in this one. The Warriors basically kept at least one true center in the game at all times until the very end. They had to play slower, but the defense was better and OKC couldn't get out and run very often. And a big game from Bogut, which is what they need.

Still think it's long odds to win in OKC, but now there is a chance.

Defense was better? They gave up...111? Granted I listened on the radio on a long drive. But if better defense is 111, that does not bode well.

Better, yes. Because we are talking about a relative judgment, not on an absolute scale. In the last two games they gave up 133 and 118 points, and both times gave up 70 before halftime. 111 and 50 at the half is definitely better.

I would not yet predict GSW demise just yet. GSW could very well lose today.. OKC just gave GSW their 2 worst losses this week.
GSW going into the playoffs were 1 of the 4 top teams I felt would be in mix to get this year's ring along with Spurs, Cavs, OKC.

The league's 2nd best record team (Spurs) are gone... so, no doubt, OKC very well can take out GSW.

I feel GSW organization is in good hands.. and even if there is no ring when this season ends.. I see them being in the mix going forward.
Players will no doubt come and go this off season.. I like the moves Bob Myers have made since being named GM.
(as well as the ownership group's moves since coming on scene.. starting with signing up the Logo to be part of the org)

as far as 2016 FA, KD is on top of my GSW FA wish list.. another one is Biyombo/Raptors.. called into starting line up in playoffs... very raw (23 years) but he looks to have large upside and is a rebounding machine.

Well the NBA would stand to make a lot of $$$ from another game, and it would be/could be both myth and legend building, and a budding rivalry.

A rivalry would help GSW more than hurt it...and the NBA.

Of this series at least. He single handedly kept the Dubs in the game with his record setting 3 point shooting night. OKC seemingly scored at will and dominated the boards and the Warriors still do it largely thanks to Klay.

Down 3 to 1, long way looking up... got game 5 at home and put a bit of pressure back on OKC.. OKC comfortably in command of game 6.. but let GSW hang around... OKC and their fans must feel like A's when Jeter's flip to get Giambi out at home.. stunned....

heading home for game 7...

Amazing. In addition to Thompson, Curry, for all his struggles at times, was one assist shy of a triple double.

I think many Warriors fans will think that the series is in the bag now. I don't - OKC had an awful shooting night, but they have shown that they can absolutely hang with the Warriors or better. GSW will be favored but Monday night will be a hell of a sports night (Warriorss-Thunder game 7 + game 1 of Sharks and Pens in Stanley Cup Finals).

Geez, you poor W's fans. I thought they could win it and good for them for doing so.

I think Westbrook and Durant EF'ed up their karma or the momentum. Shouldn't have laughed at Curry. Just dumb, even if they didn't mean it.

Any way, good for GS and basketball. But I hope OKC wins the final but for a side reason. W's need a rival. Without one, it's just not as fun. A handful of good teams duking it out is better for the game overall. If GS finishes off OKC, Durant is gone and maybe he'll go to GS? OKC has a decent chance but not an easy one. They have to re-energize and not fade, and no way they're favored. Durant and Westbrook have to want it more.

Um even if the dubs pull out game 7, the cavs might be an even tougher challenge.

I'm not sure lebron would let that game get away like durant/Westbrook

There are plenty of good teams in this league. Not like the dubs are just sweeping thru these teams

I don't get it. Need a rival? The Warriors have rivals and they are very good. In my opinion, you have to go back a few years to find a top 4 in the NBA as good as (in no particular order):

Cavs - peaking, absolutely dominating playoff run, one of the best players of all time in Lebron
Warriors - showed their stuff tonight but game 7 will be a beast
Thunder - amazing playoff run and could still pull it out
Spurs - 67 regular season wins and should be clear by now that there is no shame in losing a close series to the Thunder. In addition to playing great as a team, they have in my opinion, a top-3 all-around player in Leonard.

All 4 teams play defense, and all 4 teams have at least 1 truly great player.

AND the Thunder completely choked. Durant and Westbrook reverted to inefficient hero ball down the stretch and it cost them, just like it did in many of their regular-season losses. They had been playing nice team ball all series, but when the going got tough, they reverted to bad habits.

ducky.....Game 7 will be tough.....Get through that and it is all West....Dubs aren't sweeping through these teams for it is the playoffs...First time in the whole year they have lost two games in a row...A lot more worried about OKC , even at home, than the Mistake on the Lake.

Nah. I believe the cavs are the superior team. (Over the thunder)

The thunder have been playing a bit over their skis during the playoffs. You have guys like Roberson and Adams who have never in their life played at a higher level.

The cavs are also much much deeper. You can tell durant and Westbrook are exhausted. Cavs role players like Thompson, frye, shumpert, smith, delly are way deeper than the thunder.

The cavs also have three stars to guard rather than just two.

And lastly, as much as I love Steph, lebron is the best player in the league. And when it's crunch time, he's not going to wilt like Westbrook/durant.

The one thing that thunder have gojng for them is that they have a center who can make the dubs pay for going small. With bogut mostly absent the entire series, the dubs have to play small to have a chance. Adams is absolutely dominating the dubs in those situations and was seemingly pulling down every single rebound.

What last year showed was that mozgov is not good enough to prevent the dubs from going small. So in a battle of small ball, the dubs may have the edge over the cavs. Maybe.

Just checking in here to say OH MY FUCKINGGOD, KLAY THOMPSON WAS INSANE!!! and that's the VERY first thing I read on this board.

Good call, NYC.
That was hilarious and insane. The OKC totally blew it and choked, at the same time and Klay threw up a ton of prays that most will never see again. As Chuck says, I've never seen that before.

Amazing.

one thing is KD has really impressed me. freak of nature
dude is listed at 6-11 but I read that he's really 7 feet (didn't want to be labelled as center)
and not only is he very tall, he is extremely long
just how does someone that tall move like a 5-7 SF???
He seems like he can get a shot anytime he wants

Yes, but he shoot too much last night. And so did Westbrook. OKC has nowhere near the Warriors' commitment to ball and player movement. Some times they do it and look pretty damn good. However, at the end of last night's game, as Donovan put it, they were stagnant and it killed them.

Laughing-boy Westbrook turned it over 3x in the last 3 minutes and then started throwing up bricks. Iguodala's close defense was getting in his head. Let him smirk about that. He will likely have public relations issues in the off season unless he gets a clue.

Durant shot 30% from the field...thanks to the defense...and made untimely TO's in the second half. I'm sure he's still giggling.

I'd be somewhat surprised if KD left this year the way everything has unfolded. Even if OKC loses tonight, they would have come a hair's breadth away from making the finals and dethroning a team with the greatest record of all time (and were up 3-1 against them!). There's no guarantee that KD's new team would be better than his current one, unless he joined the GSW, but then he would catch a lot of flak from every non-GSW fan as being a ring chaser/sell out/quitter.

I think he's a favorite to return for at least 1 more run. But then again, I thought OKC would win game 6 in a blowout, so what do I know.

OKC trying to close out game 6 was like a golfer who has been leading the Masters for 3 days trying to close it out on Sunday when someone behind him is piling up birdies. All of a sudden hitting fairways and making putts becomes harder. Klay's shooting really puckered up Westbrook and Durant in the last two minutes.

I think beating the Spurs assured Durant would come back for at least one more year in OKC. But he might do a short-term deal and be gone after that if they can't win it all next year.
