Looks like Penguins wrap it up in Game 5 in Pittsburgh, no?
Not much more to talk about.

Curry, Thompson and Green had their lowest combined scoring output in a single game since 2014.

I've got to say, though I love those guys, I thought their performance in this game was a display of poor character. It was obviously a game where the Cavs were going to play a lot better, and I feel like the Dubs were believing all the hype suggesting they are so dominant compared to the Cavs that they barely need to try. They looked so terrible. Seems like they need to get their back against the wall to play really well.

I cringed when I heard Klay saying they could beat the Showtime Lakers. At least wait until you wrap up this series...

...and on a side note, me thinks the Dubs will do much better tonight since Lacob and Guber have splurged and taken most of the Warriors HQ all the way to Cleveland for Game 4. Did the same last year.

Yeah, you'd celebrate, too, if you knew you were gonna get to host a third game in this series!!! :p

He was almost certainly joking. His dad played on the Showtime Lakers. Just throwing some shade to the old man.

I thought so to, but then his dad opined the same. I assume they've talked about it before.

I am changing my opinion in the matter. Game 3 was absolutely a tank job.

They didn't tank they just didn't show up. Home close out would be awesome for the fans lucky enough to attend.

Yes. That's exactly what he was doing and it was very funny. Given all that's gone on with old-timers slighting the Warriors this season, how the Warriors have consistently avoided making comparisons, it's pretty obvious that it was a clever joke.

Wonder if Steph is ever going to admit to being injured. He is unable to go to his left which is making him much easier to guard and the reason he is having so much trouble getting to the basket and finishing. Warriors are lucky to have him even with this limitation and it's not destroying his 3pt shooting though I have to think it has an impact.

He withdrew from 2016 Olympics this past week citing need to recover from recent injuries. (post season into June now 2 seasons in row)
Players get banged up in playoffs...(as games are more physical and refs let more fouls go uncalled). Is Curry's ability to cut/push hard off his ankle/knee due the recent injuries even if he is not saying? I am sure if he tested out (NBA draft combine type tests) he would not test out as well now than before playoffs began. (lateral quickness, 30 or 40 yard dash, etc)

here are some (key players) from 2016 and 2015 playoffs:

2016:
Love/concussion
Blake/quad
Chris Paul/hand
Curry/ankle and then knee
H Whiteside/knee

2015 playoffs:
Conley/eye
Love/shoulder
Kyrie/knee
Curry/concussion
Thompson/concussion

I think it's definitely his right MCL injury that's limiting his ability to go left. It's showing up in how he drives and defends. I think it's why he's shooting worse on 2s than 3s. Cavs are doing a pretty good job taking advantage of it.
philbert
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I loved them using steph and klay on the PnR. Cavs can't double the ballhandler as easily with that combo. If you do, an open 3 for one or the other....
philbert

Add klay to the 2016 list. He needed a shot for the knee to the thigh in game 3 just to play in game 4. Also, who knows how much steph's bruised elbow in the okc series affects/affected his shooting? He got a shot for that too.

c'mon dude. i mean I'm sure there's corruption. but there's no way Silver approaches Kerr and Kerr just goes with it.

I mean, how would Kerr even be able to throw a game. Come up with a bad gameplan? Tell his players not to try?

Naw, that would be shameful. Much better to alert the officials to be on the lookout for certain things, like they did with Tim Donaghy.

Talk about "not my reality": All those handicaps (above) and he still goes for 38 in an NBA Finals victory!

Yes but he was 4-12 on 2 point shots with plenty of blown layups. 8 of his 38 came from free throws when the game was on ice in the last 45 seconds. It was a gutsy performance but not up to his usual standards.

Knee injuries are kinda like playing on a muddy football field. One slips and slides a bit more than if field was "normal". (balance is just not as good when moving around at high speeds)

But all the players have the same issue so it normalizes the issue to all players on field to an extent.

With that said, Curry is suiting up, trying his best with any physical limitation he has now. (not just him, every player still playing for the ring)

Yeh, King James should have been suspended for the clothesline on Curry toward the end of the game. Obviously two-time MVPs
don't get any respect. Curry was uncharacteristically hot after the blow to his neck by lebron, could have gotten a technical
when the refs ignored the flagrant foul. Last game with about 2 minutes left Warriors drive to the basket, get hacked across both
arms upraised for a layup and it wasn't a shooting foul. A few seconds later Lebron gets hacked at the free thrown line takes 3-4
steps to the basket then misses a layup and it's called a shooting foul.

In crunch time all you can hope for is the refs to be consistent; it wasn't in game four and now this BS suspension. The NBA may
soon have the credibility of professional wrestling.

Crowd needs to chant "LeBron is a b-----!" at every suitable opportunity, in support of Draymond, in protest of the NBA's decision, and because LeBron doesn't like being called that.
