It's only news if they receive interest or get offered by Cal. Just trying to show there are recruits out there who fit our recruiting profile.

Kindly just provide a name with your links, if nothing else. I prefer a paste of the actual tweet or a summary of the article, to keep things here straight and flowing (understandable, trackable).

Different positions, but relatively speaking Jeter was a better player than Boykin at Duke. All-academic ACC, would add something off the court. Good get to follow Lee, King, and Kam.

Jeter is not eligible to play immediately and will have to sit out a year per verbalcommits transfer list.

We have a bunch, which I don't think we should all use for the same class.

Of course he's on scholarship. So you don't take him because he has to sit a year as a transfer? Please explain. We've got maybe 7 scholarships available right now. We need players and as a 5 star big, he's worth it IMO.

Yes. Just like Marcus Lee did this year.

Lee, King, Rooks, and Jeter would be a rotation log jam, but it's moot since Jeter will have to sit out a year. He's coming off minor back surgery and is still a little skinny. Let him bulk up and go against the other three in practice. Need two bigs for 2019-Jordan Brown and Jeter would work.

2017 6-5 G Devante Doutrive from LA Birmingham HS is apparently still unsigned. John R. Wooden POY Award winner along with JHD. Also West Valley League MVP, LA Daily News LA City Section Player of the Year, All-CIF LA City Section Player of the Year, LA Times City Section Player of the Year, etc. Averaged 22.3 points and 8.5 rebounds.

Maybe as a walk-on. Most of these guys you point out aren't high-major. Very few High academics are. If Stanford or Northwestern (or even Harvard) isn't on them, they aren't likely to be HM prospects.

Jordan Brown is the obvious top target. Wyking just offered Brooks from Seattle. Taeshon Cherry is a combo-forward that's also a top target. I'd like to see Cal get in on Kamaka Hepa, but Gonzaga, Oregon, and Stanford have been on him for a while now.
