You young'uns need to study your hoops history:

Chaminade upset the Virginia team that had Ralph Sampson (can't remember if he played that game, or was injured, but it's irrelevant). They are a world power when it comes to upsets. It is an honor to be upset by Chaminade and join Virginia in hoops lore!

I bet Chaminade would upset the Golden State Warriors, if they played on Friday!

They also beat Texas about five years ago

Sorry, not listening to any excuses. I have been following the Bears since the mid-80s and I can't think of a team that has looked this bad. In fact, I can't remember any other PAC team ever looking this lost and unprepared. Have to pin this on the coaching staff, not on the players or their talent level (in my opinion they are all D1 level players). The lack of execution and floor awareness are absolutely shocking for a major conference program with the resources we have. I feel for the players as they seem to be panicking because they haven't been given any instruction on where to go or what to do on the court.

I don't see any on-court reading of opposing defenses, and the Bears can't execute an offensive play to save their lives. Why do you think Coleman is constantly going one on one? We don't have any structure on offense and ultimately it's a relief that we even get a shot off before the clock expires.

To me, the five minute stretch in the second half against Wichita State when the Bears could not even inbound the ball was completely revealing -- it wasn't just the turnovers, but the fact that we kept doing the same thing, over and over. No in-game adjustment nor any attempt to do anything differently. No having the passer run the baseline, no movement by anyone towards the center of the floor. Frankly any high school coach can recognize a 2-2-1 press, and the fact that we didn't even have a clue how to break it should tell you something.

Except it wasn't a 2-2-1, rather a 3-1-1.

Chaminade was 14-25 (56%) from 3.
That walker kid, who hit 2 or 3 in the opening minute, was 7 of 10. He hit them from deep, with people in his face.
Rest of team shot well, too: 7-15.

Chaminade played well.

They started:
6'8" junior
6'8" junior
6'7" junior
6'6" senior
5'10" senior Walker, shooter

Bench:
6'4" junior
6'1" senior
6'10" jr

That's not bad size or experience! On their home court, nothing to lose.

Lee and Okoroh should been the difference. But neither could do anything once they got the ball in the post, and Coach went to both of them early and often.

Once, Okoroh got blocked and nearly fell over. Another time he nearly got called for hooking as he began his move, the entire opponent bench screaming for it. He banked his out of rhythm shot off glass.
17 mins: 1-4 FG, 0-2 FT, 3 boards, 2 pts.

Lee was no better. 1-5 from the floor. 2-4 FT, Fouled out in 14 mins, 6 boards. 0 assists. 4 pts.
