Our bigs are very ineffective again. Kingsley has no clue on how to shoot.
I don't think Kingsley does well with this kind of running up and down. He's been sped up way too much for his comfort zone.Basketball Bear said:

Nice to see Grant take (and make) that three. Has to produce against a team like this.
Agreed KAB - not a good style of play for him at all. Struggling on having to move his feet so much.
Like the move back to man to man. Coleman needs to improve shot selection and it would be good to see our lineups a little more balanced.

Chaminade is a team where we need to win the TO and rebounding battles
Coleman plays with certain lineups that require him to be incredibly aggressive.
Now in with Justice/McNeill so he can be a bit more selective.

Nice recognition by Justice to get on the block and abuse that smaller player. Let's go back to that a few more times.

I like this unit: Justice, Grant, DC and McNeil.
I'm now of the opinion that Okoroh should not start, nor should he play much. Simply not a fit with the new style.
Start Anticevich instead. 1) he can shoot from the outside which clears up drives to the basket and 2) he is the future. Okoroh isn't.
Play McCullough, Winston and Davis. If they don't prove themselves, have the tough conversation. Hamilton isn't the future.
This year should be all about preparing for next year.

Interesting unit: Grant, Austin, DC, ML and McNeill. I think I like it.
Only bad coaches take a team's strength away. We have two good interior defenders and we manage to make one of them obsolete (King) by running this stupid press fast-paced game our roster is not ready to execute. This is awful. We can't beat a D2 team.
Liking Anticevich too. Seems to have a good basketball IQ, plays with confidence for a freshman and has a good skill set for a bigger guy. Far less raw than I expected from seeing his Aussie film. Definitely needs to get stronger but that will come.
This is our best group: ML, DC, Grant, Justice and McNeill.
ML with his 3rd. Has to stop.

My daughter is sitting next to me keeping that stat. Just once so far today!
Poor Kingsley. Probably shouldn't play in the second half. Go smaller. Do not really need size against these guys.
King looks gassed too, which is understandable, I suppose. Getting beaten down the court routinely in transition.

Has to put in his system. Sooner the better. Kingsley obsolete.
