Read on another thread that we might be in the running for Charles Bassey and that the '19 recruit may reclassify to 2018.

Anybody have any info to add here?

(I had to look him up, but he is from Texas -- Nigeria, originally -- 6-10, 220 and a legit 5-star, probably one of the top ten guys in his class. Wow, that'd be a huge coup.)

I also saw where UCLA got a commitment from a 5 star center, the number 2 or 3 player in the country. That's gotta help our chances with Brown(?), right?

Bassey's team is in the Bay Area this weekend and will, in fact, play Jordan Brown's team at 7 PM Saturday night, as part of the Crush in the Valley Tournament at American Canyon H.S.! (Brown is said to be "possible", due to a tight hamstring.)
