Damn, that's a scary flashback. Went to Irvine on a Tuesday or something. Then back home for a day or two, flew to Hawaii on Christmas Day. It's as if Mike Williams scheduled that Irvine game. Made zero sense.

I went to one of Zion's HS games in Spartanburg and so far two of his college games and he looks 280 but a totally different kind of 280. Like a The Rock 280. Is hesrd he was flabby in HS but there's nothing flabby about him now.

If there's any good news shooting wise......in the Fresno State fiasco CAL hung close to 60% for about 25 minutes or so and then regressed finishing at 49.1%.*** Tonight we're sitting at 36.7%.

***Man, that shows we really had lousy D.

Got to love SJSU's scout on us. Stay in tight defensively, let us shoot a ton of 3FGs because we will always settle for them. Take your chances we won't get hot. So far, so good.

You have pretty good recall, right? I remember the WSU game from 94-95 that Cal lost at home to dip under .500 that they led (I think by a lot) late in the second half. I also remember an OSU game during Braun's tenure (a loss) with both teams finishing in the 40s. For a long time, I thought those games were the biggest monuments to excremental basketball that I could remember. Several games this year have made those games look like basketball clinics. Tonight's installment deserves special recognition given that abject sh#ttiness of the opponent. Unbelievable how bad this staff is.

Totally agree with Monty - McNeill alone on right side. They don't look at him. Paris needs to be aware of that and get him the ball for a heat check.
