Most interesting thing is that Oregon can afford dixon or Izzo. That is the challenge cal faces.

Also remember that UCLA is also looking for a big time coach and program builder. I hope UCLA gets Bennett from UVA. It's a good time for big time coach.
Plus his style is anti-LA (deliberate, defense-oriented). LA basketball fans want showtime.TheSouseFamily said:805bear said:socaltownie said:

I can't fathom a single reason why Bennett would be interested in the UCLA job. If i'm not mistaken, UCLA has fired its last 6 basketball coaches (Alfurd, Howland, Lavin, Harrick, Hazzard, Farmer) going back to the 80s. Bennett doesn't need that and he's already in a superior job in every way. Especially with the new ACC Nerwork launching and even more revenues coming UVA's way, they can certainly match anything UCLA might offer financially.

Agree. This was the problem with howland. How many final fours did he get them, yet they fired him?UrsaMajor said:Plus his style is anti-LA (deliberate, defense-oriented).
