It worked!

Just back from the game. Whatever happens with the current staff, it's nice to bag a couple of wins and 1-2 more are not out of the question. McNeill is getting good at driving to the hoop. Vanover, Austin, Bradley and Harris-Dyson all had pretty good games. We played well except for the last 11-12 minutes, but WSU really "coug-ed it" and couldn't take advantage. For once, it was us who got a little lucky.

Agreed. JHD flourished when used properly as 6th man off the bench while allowing Bradley 30 minutes on the floor to make good things happen. We need to get up some free throws when tired in practice...missed 8 out of 11 in final 2-3 minutes.
So happy with our teams progress.

thx bearster. sounds like the young elleby wanted to stay close to home and liked their coach, and the senior elleby didn't want to push him

but also confirmed that cal did recruit him
