during the cal/stanford game, they flashed a photo of don coleman as he was a key in cal's 17 point comeback win over stanford last year. Not sure why they highlighted coleman as it was Lee, Sueing and McNeil who keyed that win. Anyway, I hadn't thought about him for awhile.

He plays next year. I never liked him.

coleman and Austin are almost two peas in a pod. both excel at driving whether a drive is called for or not, and neither is a good perimeter shooter. They can accurately be called driving guards rather than passing or shooting guards.

I didn't post this video because I liked his game

I posted it because I hadn't thought about him for a long time until they talked about him during the game, and I remembered how he would make some crazy circus shots

Good for entertainment value, but often not good for the team

Guy was fearless and played hard though

Coleman could be a good dude. Cuonzo's last year, he was very gracious to my son after one of the games and I became a fan. He brought the fire. I wish he had been able to hit a higher percentage of his threes last season. To be sure, there were other problems, too, though. I hope he lights it up in Mobile next year.
