Getting fired coach's pay is a good gig if you can get it. It is basically like having a 35 year career at a six figure salary except you get it in 3 to 4 years. It's good to be King!

Ernie Kent is a good guy, even though maybe not a great Head Coach. If memory serves me right, he was a good Guard at UO (Kamikaze Squads) and later the top Assistant to Monty at LSJU, then a pretty successful Head Coach at Saint Mary's, then things did not work out so well for him as the Head Coach at UO. After being a TV commentator, he took the Head Coaching job at WSU which is one of the toughest places in college basketball to win. We will see Ernie on the TV or in coaching circuit again.
